Sep 1 2010 down 32 lbs! Wowwy....that is amazing!

I'm glad to report things are going along just fine! I was operated on Aug 12, 2010 and I returned to work 8/23/10.

Following all regiments required. Walked 6 miles this past weekend. Getting in 30 min on my bike daily. Try to walk 30 min per day at work. Eating mush phase, it's not bad. Will be going on real food Sep 9 th (start of 5th week) Hooray. The swimming pool will be opening again at school today so I'll be able to swim again! I love lap swimming.

I haven't had any major problems or pain, other than my initial allergic reaction to the glue they used instead of stitches. I'm allergic to band aid glue too. No up chucking, no bad reactions from food. I'm being very careful with my portions and eating on schedule. I'm preparing everything from scratch, fresh, so I know exactly what's in everything too. Remembering to take my vitamins is easy because they are like gummy bears and Flintstones chewables and they taste like candy!!! I look forward to eating them, they're yummy.

The most amazing thing is that I'm never hungry! What a relief not to be constantly hungry. And of course the weight loss is great. I'm so glad I did this. I can bend and move so much easier. I've lost 5 or 6 inches from my stomach already and feel so much more agile. I walked 5 miles last Saturday. I haven't walked that far in decades!
